this website is all about the restoration of a mid-70's mg midget. The restoration of the car will be done by the 2 of us. mathew and alex. We are 8th graders, and although young, we do know the basics of cars and our personal favorites 4x4 trucks :). The car is not running at this time, but we do hope to reuse and rebuild the original 4cylinder and 4 speed tranney. the car has the original spoke wheels...rare!!:):). The vehicle needs a new top and we are debating on wether to repaint the car a midnight blue, or repainting it the original rust-color....originality would make the car worth more and get more points at shows...but then agin midnite blue is so kool! The title is gone and we will need to get a new one..not 2 difficult of a procedure. the wiring....blah!! mice got 2 it. at the time we have no key and cannot find the truck latch but the first thing we want to do is open the trunk to see what lies inside....mathew believe there is a possum living in the trunk holding it closed!lol ummm....i dotn wanna ruin his good time. We are going to TRY to do as much of the restoration ourselves, including apolstery....thats gunna b a chore. mathew owns the midget, which he purchased for $75 dollors.....wat a deal 4 the car.....no rust!! even the floor is rust free....that u dont c much. we will be posting pictures of the car as we restore it...we have some other projects going on at the same time(off-road go cart, yah we r restoring a roadster but at heart we are true 4x4 guys) we will post these projects on a differant site yet 2 be made.
